1. Delivery Person
Deliver persons, sometimes called couriers or messengers, pick up documents, packages or products and transport them to another location. They often use bicycles, motorcycles or automobiles including vans and trucks. They may also interact with customers and collect payment or coupons for their services.
Depending on the industry, delivery drivers might need specialized training or certification for handling certain merchandise. They might also need to be on hand to answer customer questions or respond to complaints.
The duties of a delivery person include operating and maintaining a vehicle, planning efficient routes, managing deliveries, loading and unloading cargo, providing exceptional customer service, and adhering to safety rules. These drivers often work outside or in potentially hazardous areas and are exposed to a variety of weather conditions.
2. Photographer
Photographers are the magicians that turn everyday moments into pictures we treasure for a lifetime. With millions of humans out and about constantly snapping content, photographers have to stand out from the crowd to capture the right moment in a way that resonates with their audience.
This career requires artistic individuals who are creative, intuitive, sensitive, articulate, and confident. The duties of a photographer include: capturing high-quality images that meet the needs and expectations of their clients or employers; managing photography equipment; and collaborating with marketing and creative teams to develop visual concepts.
3. Research Study or Focus Group Participant
The duties of a research study or focus group participant include participating in a group discussion, either online or in-person, for a company. Participants are asked questions about their opinions of the research topic and can receive monetary compensation for their participation.
The moderator of the discussion creates clear session guidelines to ensure everyone understands their role. This should include key questions, whether the session is being recorded or not and methods of sharing results.
For an online discussion, it is important to set up a virtual venue and remind participants to arrive at the agreed upon time. For a physical discussion, it’s best to have a physical location with the appropriate amenities for the participants.
4. Clutter Clearer
Clutter clearing involves the physical work of sorting items, filing, and organizing them in places they belong. It also involves cleaning surfaces, rooms, and closets. Ideally, clutter should be cleared on a regular basis to prevent build-up.
If you struggle with keeping up with decluttering, try scheduling it into your calendar on a weekly or monthly basis. This gives you a chance to establish good habits and keep the room or space clean without feeling overwhelmed.
To keep yourself from getting distracted or discouraged while working on clutter, work in 15 minute increments. Set a timer and take breaks in between each session. This will decrease your chances of burnout. It is also helpful to include clutter-reducing furniture in your home, such as a trunk that doubles as a coffee table or a desk with lots of drawers.
